We're excited to launch the Huruma-Gatune Poultry Project, a multi-phase initiative designed to provide fresh, nutritious eggs for the children at Huruma Children's Home while creating opportunities to strengthen the home's long-term financial resilience.

The project begins with a carefully planned pilot flock that will supply eggs directly to the children's home, helping replace a portion of food that is currently purchased from outside suppliers. Throughout the pilot, excess eggs will be sold locally, creating an additional source of income to help support Huruma's operations.

Your support will help fund the first phase of this initiative, including poultry housing, equipment, feed, veterinary care, and the initial flock. Together we can help provide an important protein source while investing in an income generating farm and Huruma’s future
