Ocean Education Initiative (OEI) creates immersive, story-driven learning experiences that bring science to life.

Through virtual field trips built from real-world exploration, we take learners aboard working vessels, into coastal ecosystems, and alongside scientists in the field. Our goal is simple: make science feel like something you can experience, not just read about.

OEI was founded to expand access to meaningful science education. Many students will never have the opportunity to step onto a research vessel or explore a wetland firsthand. We use storytelling, field-based media, and curriculum design to bridge that gap and bring those experiences into the classroom.

This page is a simple way for those who have already expressed interest in supporting OEI to contribute as we build our first programs. This initial goal represents early foundational support as we build our first programs and systems.

OEI is a founder-led initiative built around the belief that science is best understood through experience and story. We are currently developing our first series of virtual field trips in collaboration with scientists, educators, and local communities. Early support helps us refine our approach, complete these initial programs, and make them accessible to learners everywhere.
