Mocha is a feral cat who has been living for years on a kind person’s balcony where she comes daily for food.

For just as long, she has been living with entropion in both eyes, a painful condition where the eyelids roll inward and the eyelashes scrape against the eye every time she blinks. Imagine constant irritation and pain that never goes away.

Because Mocha is fully feral, daily eye medication is not possible. The only real solution is entropion surgery, which corrects the eyelid so it no longer rubs against the eye.

Surgery costs at least $1,000 per eye, and with exams, anesthesia, and medications, we expect the total cost of her care to be around $2,500.

Our goal is to safely trap Mocha, get her evaluated by a veterinary ophthalmologist, and finally give her relief from a condition she has been living with for years.
