One year ago, your generosity changed everything for Rosmeily.

Thanks to the support of this incredible community, she arrived at United World College Costa Rica as a nervous 17-year-old with big dreams. Today, she is thriving–fluent in English, confident in the classroom, and emerging as a leader her peers and teachers deeply respect.

We recently visited Rosmeily on campus. We watched her give us a tour entirely in English, saw her proudly showing off her favorite classes (Biology and Theory of Knowledge), and heard from her residence coordinators and teachers about the remarkable young woman she has become. There is no question: you gave her something priceless.

Her journey is far from over–in fact, Rosmeily is really just getting started.

Rosmeily is now entering her second year at UWC Costa Rica. As a UWC student, she has one more year ahead—a critical year where she will deepen her academics, grow her leadership, and continue breaking through barriers that once seemed impossible.
