They have nowhere left to go.

Every week, Spark Rescue answers the calls no one else can take. A litter dumped out in the fields. A senior dog whose owner can no longer care for. Terrified kittens, born in a backyard with nowhere to go. We say yes when the shelters are full, when the clock is running out, when “someone else will help” is not an option.

But saying yes has a cost. Right now, we are running on borrowed space, borrowed time, and a hope that is wearing thin. Without a permanent home of our own, every rescue is temporary. Every animal we pull is one more soul we may not have room to keep. The foster network is stretched. The medical bills keep coming. And the animals keep coming too — because need does not wait for perfect conditions.

We have found a chance to change that.

We have identified a property at 10800 Calle Real that is absolutely perfect for our needs — with the correct zoning to operate in Santa Barbara. This is not a maybe. This is not a dream on a whiteboard. This is a real place where Spark Rescue can build the future our animals deserve: space to heal, room to grow, and the stability to keep saying yes when it matters most.

If we lose this property, we do not just lose an address. We lose the chance to give these animals something they have never had — a home that will not vanish under them.

We are asking anyone who can help to help us secure this property for the Rescue.

Every dollar brings us closer to locking in 10800 Calle Real. And if we are unable to secure this property, your gift will not sit idle and it will not disappear. That money will be allocated toward another property — or used 100% to support the animals already in our care. No fluff. No waste. Straight to the work of saving lives.

These animals did not choose to be abandoned, injured, or forgotten. They only know how to trust the hands that reach for them. Right now, those hands are ours — and we need yours with us.

Help us bring Spark Rescue home. Help us keep the door open for the next animal who has nowhere else to go.
