Over $17,000 in Benefits Distributed this Year!
We need your help to keep going.

You may have wondered about the ever-growing line at the front of the CVFM market each week. At the CVFM Food Assistance booth, we distribute $25 weekly benefits to neighbors in-need in the form of “Carrot Cash”. These programs are set up for individuals experiencing food insecurity under the umbrellas of WIC (“Women, Infants & Children”), SNAP/EBT (“food stamps”), and other vulnerable populations.

Due to rising food costs, unstable government benefits, and increasing general need — we have served more neighbors than ever before with our programs. This year alone, we have distributed over $17,000 in benefits. Word has gotten out, and weekly distributions during summer market have grown from $300 to $1,000, more than a 200% increase. People are accessing our food security programs and we want to keep saying yes.

But the money is running out and we need your help. At current pace, we will run out of funding by the end of summer markets.

If you believe everyone should have access to fresh, healthy food, please consider making a donation today to extend our services through the end of the calendar year (and beyond!).

Here is how your donation will help:

🥕 $25 — Feed a Neighbor
Help provide one $25 fresh-food benefit.

🥕 $50 — Feed a Family
Help provide two $25 benefits to neighbors shopping for fresh food.

🥕 $100 — Keep the Carrot Cash Flowing
Help provide four $25 benefits.

🥕 $500 — Community Food Champion
Help provide 20 $25 benefits to neighbors experiencing food insecurity.

🥕 $1,000 — Fresh Food for One Market
Help provide 40 $25 benefits — the equivalent of what we distribute during one summer market.

We’ve already shared $17,000+ in fresh food with our community this year. Help us keep the carrot cash flowing.
