Zuma was found completely alone and severely lethargic near the Reservation by a kind hearted community member. Knowing he needed urgent help, she rushed him straight to the vet. Our hearts sank when his tests came back with a positive mark for Parvo, one of the most dangerous and costly viruses a young puppy can face.

The Good News:

Because we caught it early and started treatment immediately, Zuma is beating the odds. He has been started on aggressive medications, fluids, and a strict nutritional plan. We are thrilled to report that he is doing absolutely fantastic!

He is eating and drinking on his own like a champ.
He has had absolutely no vomiting.
He just has some slight soft stools left to clear up, but his spirit is completely back. He's ready to just be a puppy!
