I am Bushra Abu Al-Khair from Jabalia City in the Gaza Strip.
I'm 18 years old and i am studying in high school and have been suffering from muscular dystrophy for nine years.

i have a beautiful ,happy family that fills me with kindness and takes care of me, and we had new house for my father and my 4 brother where we settled three years ago after waiting for five years of construction and this is some pictures for our home:

My family, consisting of 20 members, My father (Yousef), my mother (Fathiya), 4 brothers Hatem and his wife Alaa and his 2 children (Bara 4 years and Marwa 3 years), Mohamed and his wife Manar and 3 his children (Omar 8 years , Khalid 7 years and Hassan 2 years), third brother Bashar and the fourth brother Abdallah now stay in United Arab Emirates and his wife Dana, In addition to the wife of my deceased brother and her three children (Yasmeen, Yousef 4 years and Zohair 9 years ) also I have 2 sister Aisha and Basma. Mostly all of our family is children.

My family lost two of my brothers with same my disease (Duchane muscular Dystrophy) last year 2023 and 2016.

On the seventh day of October, suddenly in the early morning, we heard a sound, and then we realized that the war had started, From the first minute all my family members evacuated to my aunt's house in central Jabalia, which was considered safer than our house on the eastern border of Jabalia. After the first week, we learned that our house was got damaged by bombs , making it difficult to return and live in it. Also, the Israeli army requested people in the north to evacuate to the south of Gaza Valley.

We lost our home ,our agricultural land that has been completely swept way and lost our business, the shoe store.

There were over 400 people in the house we were in. Most of them evacuated to southern Gaza, and a few remained in the north of Gaza Valley, including us. Initially, my father refused to evacuate south due to my illness and his old age, finding it difficult to live in shelters. Therefore, we decided to stay in northern Gaza.

After forty days of intense bombing and fear, shells started falling on the house we were staying in the city center May God protect us . That's when we decided to flee south. It was very difficult for me as a girl with muscular dystrophy to move like everyone else, so my father decided to provide me with a wheelchair.

After much struggle, we managed to get the wheelchair from kind-hearted people and fled to the south of the valley, to the Deir al-Balah area. After enduring great suffering at the checkpoint from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., we arrived at Deir al-Balah and stayed in shelters in schools, which were overcrowded.

After much suffering and mediation by relatives, we built a small tent that could accommodate at least four people, but my family, consisting of twenty members, found it difficult because I, as a girl with muscular dystrophy, didn't have suitable conditions in the tent - no walls to lean on and no suitable bathroom. I suffered a lot and got sick by hepatitis A in this tent as all my family members suffered from influenza ,intestinal disease and hepatitis A due to lack of good food and clean water .

The war affected me greatly, as well as my health condition and my father's, who suffers from diabetes, high blood pressure, and many strokes. I am now in the final stage of secondary school, eagerly waiting to complete it and pursue my dreams like any other girl in the world. But the war came, destroying all my dreams and aspirations, including our warm home that we waited five years to complete, and my father had arranged everything for me, including a suitable bathroom.

I hope everyone can help me so I can temporarily escape from this barbaric war to Egypt , as I need to continue my medical treatment with a specialist due to the shortage of specialized doctors, and my father needs medical care too. Please help me to preserve myself and my family, continue my life, achieve my dream, and return my family and me to our normal life.

1-Cover the expensive costs of safe passage into Egypt. The vast majority of funds will be utilized for this, knowing that the cost of going to Egypt per person ranges between 5,000 USD and my family consists of a large number. I have absolutely nothing: no home and no livelihood.

2-Set up the family with a temporary place to stay in Egypt, while it is determined what the best path forward for them is

3-Treatment costs for boshra and visiting specialized doctors in addition the costs treatment for my father (Medicine and analysis)

بشرى أبو الخير من مدينة جباليا في قطاع غزة. أبلغ من العمر 18 عاما وأدرس في المدرسة الثانوية وأعاني من مرض ضمور العضلات لمدة تسع سنوات.

لدي عائلة جميلة وسعيدة تملأني باللطف وتعتني بي، وكان لدينا منزل جديد لوالدي و4اخوة لي حيث استقرنا قبل ثلاث سنوات بعد انتظار خمس سنوات من البناء وهذه بعض الصور لمنزلنا ...

عائلتي، تتكون من 20 عضوا، والدي (يوسف)، أمي (فتحية)، 4 إخوة حاتم وزوجته الاء وطفليه (براء 4 سنوات ومروة 3 سنوات)، محمد وزوجته منار و3 أطفاله (عمر 8 سنوات، خالد 7 سنوات وحسن سنتين)، الأخ الثالث بشار والأخ الرابع عبد الله الذي يقيم الآن في الإمارات العربية المتحدة وزوجتها دانا، بالإضافة إلى زوجة أخي المتوفى وأطفالها الثلاثة (ياسمين، يوسف 4 سنوات وزهير 9 سنوات) أيضا أنا لديك أختان عائشة وبسمة معظمهم من عائلتنا من الأطفال.

فقدت عائلتي اثنين من إخوتي بنفس مرضي (ضمور دوشان العضلي) في العام الماضي 2023 وفي عام 2016.

في اليوم السابع من أكتوبر، فجأة في الصباح الباكر، سمعنا صوتا، ثم أدركنا أن الحرب قد بدأت، منذ اللحظة الأولى تم إجلاء جميع أفراد عائلتي إلى منزل عمتي في وسط جباليا، الذي كان يعتبر أكثر أمانا من منزلنا على الحدود الشرقية لجباليا. بعد الأسبوع الأول، علمنا أن منزلنا قد تضرر بسبب القنابل، مما جعل من الصعب العودة والعيش فيه. أيضا، طلب الجيش الإسرائيلي من الناس في الشمال الإخلاء إلى جنوب وادي غزة.

لقد فقدنا منزلنا، أرضنا الزراعية التي اجتاحت تماما وفقدنا أعمالنا، متجر الأحذية.

كان هناك أكثر من 400 شخص في المنزل الذي كنا فيه. تم إجلاء معظمهم إلى جنوب غزة، وبقي عدد قليل منهم في شمال وادي غزة، بمن فيهم نحن. في البداية، رفض والدي إخلاء الجنوب بسبب مرضي وكبر سنه، ووجدنا صعوبة في العيش في الملاجئ. لذلك، قررنا البقاء في شمال غزة.

بعد أربعين يوما من القصف الشديد والخوف، بدأت القذائف تسقط على المنزل الذي كنا نقيم فيه في وسط المدينة لكن بفضل الله حفظنا الله. هذا عندها قررنا الفرار جنوبا. كان من الصعب جدا بالنسبة لي كفتاة تعاني من ضمور العضلات التحرك مثل أي شخص آخر، لذلك قرر والدي تزويدي بكرسي متحرك.

بعد الكثير من النضال، تمكنا من الحصول على الكرسي المتحرك من أشخاص طيبي القلب وهربنا إلى جنوب الوادي، إلى منطقة دير البلح. بعد تحملنا معاناة كبيرة عند نقطة التفتيش من الساعة 8:00 صباحا إلى الساعة 8:00 مساء، وصلنا إلى دير البلح وبقينا في الملاجئ في المدارس، التي كانت مكتظة.

بعد الكثير من المعاناة والوساطة من قبل الأقارب، قمنا ببناء خيمة صغيرة يمكن أن تستوعب أربعة أشخاص على الأقل، ولكن عائلتي، المكونة من عشرين عضوا، وجدت صعوبة في ذلك لأنني، كفتاة تعاني من ضمور عضلي، لم يكن لدي ظروف مناسبة في الخيمة - لا توجد جدران تتكئ عليها ولا حمام مناسب. عانيت كثيرا ومرضت من التهاب الكبد A في هذه الخيمة حيث عانى جميع أفراد عائلتي من الأنفلونزا وأمراض الأمعاء والتهاب الكبد A بسبب نقص الطعام الجيد والمياه النظيفة.

أثرت الحرب علي بشكل كبير، وكذلك حالتي الصحية ووالدي، الذي يعاني من مرض السكري وارتفاع ضغط الدم والعديد من السكتات الدماغية. أنا الآن في المرحلة الأخيرة من المدرسة الثانوية، أنتظر بفارغ الصبر إكمالها ومتابعة أحلامي مثل أي فتاة أخرى في العالم. لكن الحرب جاءت، ودمرت كل أحلامي وتطلعاتي، بما في ذلك منزلنا الدافئ الذي انتظرنا خمس سنوات لإكماله، وكان والدي قد رتب كل شيء لي، بما في ذلك حمام مناسب.

آمل أن يتمكن الجميع من مساعدتي حتى أتمكن من الهروب مؤقتا من هذه الحرب الهمجية إلى مصر، لأنني بحاجة إلى مواصلة علاجي الطبي مع أخصائي بسبب نقص الأطباء المتخصصين، ويحتاج والدي إلى رعاية طبية أيضا. من فضلك ساعدني في الحفاظ على نفسي وعائلتي، ومواصلة حياتي، وتحقيق حلمي، وإعادة عائلتي وأنا إلى حياتنا العادية، آمل أن تساعدني وتتبرع لي، حتى مبلغ صغير، لأن هذا سيحدث فرقا. مساعدتك فقط هي التي ستحميني أنا وعائلتي. أشكركم جميعا من أعماق قلبي على التبرع وعلى قراءة قصتي.

3- تكاليف علاج البشرى وزيارة الأطباء المتخصصين بالإضافة إلى تكاليف علاج والدي (الطب والتحليل)

4- تكاليف التعليم الثانوي

I’m Abdallah from Gaza City,

My family and my sister Boshra is in real danger and we need your support!

I really need your hand to help my sister and family survive. Time is of the essence, especially for 18 year old Boshra who has Duchane muscular dystrophy as well as my father who has diabetes, hypertension, deep vein thrombosis and herniated scondrage.

Please help Boshra with the necessities she needs for her disability. She needs specialized care and an adapted toilet with a design so she can sit on her wheelchair in the tent.

In the beginning of the war she was infected with Hepatitis A which has given her severe symptoms.
