Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are traumatic events that have happened to a child under the age of 18. These experiences can include abuse (physical, verbal, or sexual), neglect, domestic violence, drug abuse, mental illness of a parent, incarceration of a parent, divorce, and much more.

Studies find that one who experiences four or more ACEs is far more likely to develop physical health issues like obesity or diabetes, poor self esteem, mental health issues like depression, and possible suicide attempts.

Challengers also commit to finding sponsors for each of their miles at $25/mile. All money fundraised go towards launching our educational housing pilot program in 2025.
