The Jewish Academy of Orlando is proud to announce that we have already opened our doors to nine young souls who have been displaced from their homes and lives in Israel. These children, facing unimaginable challenges, have found a safe haven within our school community. However, we cannot do this alone, and we need your help to ensure their well-being.

These Israeli refugee children have been through tremendous trauma and upheaval, and our commitment to their future is unwavering. We have gone above and beyond to provide them with the care and resources they need to heal and regain a sense of normalcy. Here's how your support can make a world of difference:

Specialized Education: We are hiring specialists to work closely with these young refugees, ensuring that they receive the tailored educational support they need to overcome language barriers, academic challenges, and emotional trauma.

Emotional Support: Our dedicated full-time guidance counselor is providing a listening ear, comforting guidance, and a safe space for these children to express their fears and worries.

Routine and Stability: In a world filled with uncertainty, children thrive on routine. Your support will help us maintain a consistent and secure environment for these kids, allowing them to focus on learning, growing, and healing.

Most importantly, we understand that these parents have enough on their plates as they navigate the challenges of rebuilding their lives. The Jewish Academy of Orlando is committed to alleviating their burdens by offering these educational and emotional support services to their children at no cost. Our goal is to provide a sanctuary for these children while allowing their parents to focus on the broader task of rebuilding their lives.
