For 45 years, our non-profit organization has been dedicated to helping youth and families thrive in a rapidly changing world. In 2021, we proudly purchased and assumed operations of the Heritage Center, ensuring its legacy as a cornerstone of the North Shore community while expanding our mission to empower individuals of all ages.

Through significant refurbishments and program enhancements, we have served thousands of people, supporting their physical, mental, and social-emotional well-being. Nowhere is this impact more evident—or more critical—than in the lives of our children and teens.

Today’s youth are facing unprecedented challenges, yet we see them craving positive, healthy opportunities to connect with themselves, their peers, and their community. The need for a safe, welcoming place that nurtures skill development, mental and physical health, and emotional growth cannot be overstated.

Our vision: Expand the footprint of the Heritage Center to meet these needs and strengthen our community for generations to come. Through local input and thoughtful planning, we are excited to introduce key elements of this transformative project:

3,500 sq. ft. of year-round, indoor recreation space: A dedicated area where youth can engage in physical wellness, fitness activities, and other positive alternatives.
1,500 sq. ft. of outdoor patio space: Embracing seasonal opportunities and nature-based creativity to inspire connection and imagination.
500 sq. ft. of office space: Providing a private and supportive setting for mental health programs, group counseling, and youth support services.
A welcoming front plaza with reimagined landscaping and chess tables: Creating an inviting space that promotes mindfulness, connection, and community gathering.
