The Hermiston Herald has been informing greater Hermiston area residents and keeping a record of the community's history since 1906, and recently began providing free access to all of our news. While we no longer charge for subscriptions or place our news behind a paywall, we still need the funds to continue finding, researching, writing, photographing, editing and publishing that news.

Advertisers provide that funding, but as local businesses have been hit hard by COVID-19 restrictions and the economic downturn, their struggle has become our struggle too as they have cut their advertising budgets.
