About the Campaign

For 30 years, Hope for Kids has been a place where laughter echoes through the trees, friendships form that last a lifetime, and every camper discovers they’re loved and valued. Now, alumni and friends are coming together to make sure the next generation gets to feel that same spark.

This peer-to-peer fundraising campaign is our biggest alumni-powered push of the year. Each gift—and every share—helps cover the real cost of running camp while keeping it accessible for all families.

Why It Matters

Hope for Kids is more than a summer camp—it’s a home away from home that shapes hearts, builds leaders, and connects people to God’s love.
By giving—or starting your own mini-fundraiser—you’re ensuring every camper can come to camp, regardless of income.

Every dollar makes a tangible difference for campers and staff:

$25 buys 4 jars of peanut butter for the summer kitchen.
$56 replaces the 9-volt batteries for all 45 cabin smoke detectors.
$75 buys 6 gallons of pool chlorine for safe swimming.
$110 replaces worn-out basketballs for daily recreation.
$161 provides hand soap for every sink across camp.
$233 covers one week of trash pickup to keep camp clean.
$400 brings Rita’s Water Ice to camp for a week of smiles.
$700 bridges the gap between what families can pay and the real cost of a week at camp.
