Bridgehaven Children's Advocacy Center is a nonprofit organization that was created to help minimize the trauma associated with child abuse investigations. Bridgehaven CAC is an organization that offers programs to help victims of child abuse and neglect.

CAC (Children's Advocacy Center) program that has helped to change the way child abuse investigations are handled in Chambers and Liberty Counties in southeast Texas by working as part of a multidisciplinary team which includes law enforcement, prosecutors, child protective service workers, mental/medical professionals and volunteers.

The Purpose of Bridgehaven CAC is to coordinate the work of the multidisciplinary partnership and to ensure that child victims are not revictimized by the system designed to protect them. Bridgehaven CAC provides a neutral, child-friendly, non-institutionalized environment in which each victim can feel safe telling his/her story and immediate services can be provided to both the child and their non-offending family members.

As the year draws to a close, we find ourselves reflecting on the incredible strength and resilience of the children and families we serve at Bridgehaven CAC. Every day, we witness their courage as they navigate the unthinkable—the trauma of abuse. It is through the unwavering support of people like you that we can offer them hope, healing, and justice. At Bridgehaven CAC, we serve as a safe haven for children who have experienced abuse. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to provide forensic interviews, medical exams, therapy, and advocacy—services designed to support their recovery and ensure their voices are heard.
