With your help, ACJ will build a better Jewish future–one where Jewish education is accessible, intercommunal connections are abundant, and religious guidance goes beyond nationalism.

As we enter 5787, we are amazed by how much ACJ has grown. Closing out the second year since ACJ was reinvigorated, one thing is clear: our work is just getting started. That’s why ACJ is embarking on an ambitious effort to raise $150,000. With your help, ACJ will build a better Jewish future–one where Jewish education is accessible, intercommunal connections are abundant, and religious guidance goes beyond nationalism.

Our Impact

Classes & Events: Almost 2,000 people have attended an ACJ event or class, including Judaism in Times of Fascism, Jewish Worldbuilding, Queer Torah, and our core Introduction to Judaism Beyond Nationalism offering. Most importantly, we were able to keep attendance accessible while compensating our instructors fairly. We provided $52,500 worth of financial aid to 192 attendees who would otherwise be unable to participate.
Affiliate Communities: ACJ has mentored and supported 14 affiliate communities across 9 states–Arizona, California, Connecticut, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Virginia, and Washington. ACJ connects affiliates to a growing network of Jewish leaders, and provides support in ritual development, community-building, and governance processes to foster growth.
Ritual Guides: ACJ’s 10 ritual guides have been used more than 1,100 times not only in households but also in shuls, classrooms, community organizations, college campuses, and interfaith settings. People use them as a starting point for conversations about Judaism beyond nationalism with their loved ones, to help them establish or deepen their religious practice, and to re-engage with Judaism in general after being disengaged.
