INTRO

Welcome to HikeGood, a donation-based community hike for the people. The WalkGood community is inclusive, everyone is welcome! This hiking experience is also family friendly. For the month of March, WalkGood LA and Maternal Mental Health Now present HikeGood: In Celebration of Women's History Month. This experience is in support the LA County's Black birth workers communities and families.

We will be embarking on the Old LA Zoo loop trail this Saturday March 9. Be sure to arrive early to account for parking and finding the group!

FAQ

Where do we meet? Park in the Merry Go Round Lot One, coordinates: 34.13164° N, 118.28343° W

What can we expect on the trail? The distance of the loop is approximately 2.5 miles, with an estimated hiking time of 1.5-2 hrs, and elevation gain of 377 ft. The trail is mostly paved with some rugged areas. There is a small section of stairs. Strollers are possible to take with assistance. Light snacks and drinks will be available at the beginning.

Can we bring our children/families? Yes, we encourage it!

What do I need to make sure to bring? Please wear the proper shoes, no open toed shoes. Bring sunglasses and sun protection, as well as your own water.
