Update 7/24/25: We are so grateful for your faithful prayers and generous support. We’re thrilled to share some wonderful news—Dee’s H1B visa has officially been approved for three years! This is truly an answer to prayer, and we give all glory to God for making a way. She will need to briefly leave and re-enter the country to update her status, but everything is now in place for her to remain here.

Update 6/2/25: On behalf of Dee, we want to express her heartfelt gratitude to each of you for showing up during a time when your support has meant the world to her. She has been deeply moved by your kindness and generosity.

We also wanted to share a quick update on where things stand. We’ve submitted the labor application, which is the first step in the process. However, we recently learned that the prevailing wage requirement is $126K—significantly higher than the $80K we had initially anticipated. We’re actively exploring options to bridge this gap but wanted to keep you informed as things evolve.

We just heard back that the labor application has been approved! Now we’re moving forward with the visa application process. Thank you again for your continued support and prayers—they truly mean a great deal. You can specifically pray for God’s provision for the remaining funds for Dee’s salary and for the H1B’s visa approval process as the final step.

Update 5/17/25: Dee's visa expires today, but per the immigration lawyer's counsel, she applied for visitor status while the H1B application is being processed & expedited. This way she can legally stay for a little longer. We will share more updates as we're able while we go through this process to hire Dee. We are still in need of the full funding goal to ensure that this new job offer can be secured. Dee is overwhelmed (now in the best of ways) by your support + prayers. Anyone who knows Dee loves her—she's selfless, brilliant, kind, and caring, and is constantly on a mission to make the world a better place.

Right now, Dee is facing an urgent and life-changing situation. Her work visa, which allows her to stay in the U.S., expires on May 17th, and that includes the 60-day grace period. Things are getting dire. If she doesn't secure a new job now, she risks being deported to India and saying goodbye to the U.S., a place she has called home for over a decade.

After being unexpectedly laid off on 3/17/25, Dee has interviewed with dozens of companies. She recently completed five rounds of interviews at a tech company, only to be told they went with another candidate. The emotional toll of this uncertainty has been overwhelming.

Without a new work visa, Dee would have to leave the country, and reapplying for a visa after being forced to leave is a complicated and lengthy process. This is something we can’t let happen.

We are trusting in God to do something miraculous, and we need your support!

The Solution:

A friend is willing to hire Dee to support her visa application; however, the government requirements for the H1B visa are steep. Her new employer would need to pay a minimum salary of $80,000, along with an estimated $10,000 processing fee for the visa. Unfortunately, this exceeds the company’s current financial capacity, and that’s where we need your help.

Given the urgent timeline, this is now the option for Dee to stay if she's hired by this friend's company. The friend by faith is filing the necessary paperwork with Dee's immigration lawyer, but we need the funds ASAP as the company needs to financially prove that they can pay Dee her salary.

Your contribution will directly help Dee stay in the U.S. and secure her renewed work visa and required salary amount. We’re also in talks with angel investors to help fund the gap, but your donations will make all the difference. She appreciates your support more than you know.
