Hey family, as you know I have had the opportunity each year of my life to serve side by side with my parents here in the USA and in other countries. Though sometimes it has been hard from my point of view as a 14-year-old, world missions are super important because they help us see the world from a bigger perspective. When I learn about people in different countries while working together to help those in need, it makes me realize how big and connected our world really is. It's like, when you see others facing challenges and still finding hope, it makes you appreciate what you have and want to do more for others, not just think about yourself all the time. Missions show us that no matter how young or old or where we come from, we can all make a difference. It’s all about putting our hearts and minds into it. If we really care and commit to helping, even in small ways, we can create a huge positive impact not only in other people’s lives but hopefully in ours as well. That’s pretty awesome to think about—that even someone like me can help change the world. I want to ask if you will help send me on my next mission trip to Honduras. We will be serving a Garifuna community that my family has partnered with and supported for the last 20 years. The purpose of this trip is to help the local pastor make the needed upgrades to the small church building where he and his family faithfully serve day after day, week after week and we are also going to put on VBS for the kids in the community so they can hear about the love of Jesus and find hope in him.
