🌟 Sustain the Backbone of LA's Food Ecosystem! 🌟

As the backbone of the food ecosystem in Los Angeles, our programs work to increase access to free groceries and nourishing meals for our neighbors. We help bring people in the door with a hot meal, so community organizations can connect them to other essential services.

Our food reaches the table of over 21,000 Angelenos, whether it's served at our Community Dinner and Wellness or through a trusted Community Exchange nonprofit partner. With the help of our volunteers and recipient partner organizations, we can move food throughout Los Angeles and into the hands of people who need it.

Without Hollywood Food Coalition, these community organizations would struggle to feed people facing food insecurity in their own communities.

The work doesn’t end here. We are already planning for next year, our 40th anniversary. As we enter this milestone year, we continue our commitment to expanding access, strengthening partnerships, and showing up for our neighbors with care, dignity, and nourishment.

Your gift today helps sustain this work for tomorrow.

🌟 Consider Donating Monthly: When you give monthly, you’re not just donating–you’re giving us something even more valuable: certainty. It means our rent is covered, our gas tanks are full and our kitchen is running night after night. That certainty is what lets us show up every single day: rescuing food, preparing and serving meals, and building real solutions to food insecurity in LA.

ABOUT HOLLYWOOD FOOD COALITION

Hollywood Food Coalition is an organization dedicated to nourishing the community by rescuing and distributing food, preparing nightly meals, and uniting efforts to achieve food equity.

We work to end food insecurity and build a stronger, more connected Los Angeles through food, care, and collective action. Our Exchange rescues high-quality food and redistributes it daily to grassroots nonprofits across the city, expanding access, reducing waste, and supporting communities too often left out of traditional food systems. At our nightly Dinner, we serve nourishing, chef-prepared meals 365 days of the year, offering not just sustenance but consistency, dignity, and human connection for those experiencing hunger or hardship. Here, our Wellness team connects guests with essential services like healthcare, hygiene, and housing, while we advocate for a stronger, more equitable safety net that reaches everyone.
