Holiday Gifts of HOPE was created in 2011 with hopes of bringing joy to children facing unfortunate life circumstances that would prevent them from celebrating the holidays. Our gift drives, Santa Claus and Grinch photos, and in-person holiday extrodinare are all provided free of charge to families who would otherwise be unable to attend.

Our organization targets families and youth who are in foster care, unhoused, and/or underserved/at-risk. This includes people without housing, living in shelters, at risk of foreclosure, adoptive or foster families, families in low-income/underserved areas, families using SNAP, WIC, or other low-income programs for families, and/or other families in need of assistance.

WHAT WE DO FOR OUR COMMUNITY

Backpacks bring HOPE

Every Summer, backpacks are filled with school supplies and given at no cost to foster, homeless, CPS involved, and other underserved students in need in our service area. If you would like to make a donation to our Backpacks bring HOPE Backpack and School Supply Drive, please follow the link to our campaign homepage in order to help us raise the funds to purchase more school supplies to fill backpacks for our little people in need.

Holiday Gifts of HOPE

Stephanie’s Lifeline HOPE is hosting our 15th annual Holiday Gifts of HOPE gift giving program. Our Santa Claus and Grinch gift giving and photo experience gives for families experiencing hardship in WA State hope and lasting memories to hang on to for years to come. Each child referred to the program will receive gifts (amount dependent on value), a photo with Santa Claus and/or the Grinch, and participate in family activites and fun while indulging in holiday treats. Do you know a family who could benefit from Holiday Gifts of HOPE's gift giving event? Send us an email at stephanieslifeline@gmail.com and tell us about them. We are currently accepting families for the 2026 holiday season.

The KIND Program

The KIND Program (Kitting In a New Direction) in which we partner with another local nonprofit Seniors Creating Art (SCA). SCA offers free 4 to 8 week long art programs to senior citizens. Senior participants meet in local community centers, retirement centers, senior centers, etc. to participate in art classes where atmosphere of creativity hope and purpose are abundant. In this collaborative program between SCA and H.O.P.E, senior citizens in the communities in which SCA serves will meet a few times per year to participate in classes in order to learn to crochet and/or knit gloves, hats, scarves, and/or blankets that can then be donated to homeless individuals in the same community. This program will provide purpose and even therapy to aging seniors whilst also filling a need among homeless individuals and families.
