Holiday Support + Wishes supports the families behind small businesses.

This season, Black Business Network is coordinating direct holiday support for small-business households in our network through a dignified, privacy-protected matching process.

Support may include groceries, gas and transportation, general retail gift cards, winter items, personal care and hygiene products, household essentials, children’s and teen wishes, and other practical needs. Each household is reviewed through intake, and BBN coordinates the matching, communication, fulfillment, and distribution.

Matching begins before November 27 and continues throughout the holiday season as donations, products, gift cards, and partner commitments are received.

The campaign is connected to Food Truck Fridays: Buy Black Friday, our 2026 season finale on Friday, November 27 at 901 Payne Avenue in Saint Paul. Nov. 27 is a major public activation and community touchpoint for the campaign — it is not the final day families can receive support.

The fundraising campaign will remain open through December 20, 2026, giving BBN time to continue filling unmet needs, purchase approved items, coordinate partner support, and complete holiday fulfillment.

We are building from the households already in intake and growing toward serving up to 50 families behind small businesses this season.

Donations to this campaign are used by BBN to purchase and fulfill approved household needs and are combined with donated goods, gift cards, direct sponsorships, and partner support.

BBN handles the coordinating end to end — intake, privacy, matching, family communication, fulfillment tracking, gap tracking, and distribution — so support reaches participating households while protecting personal information.
