The Manna Food Project is a local nonprofit food bank that serves our neighbors in need across Antrim, Charlevoix, and Emmet counties in Northern Michigan.

The Manna Food Project has four major programs. The Food Bank distributes over 1.5 million pounds of food to 45+ partner agencies. Our combined efforts keep food on the table for 43,000 individuals each month. The Food 4 Kids program distributed over 64,000 backpacks of food in 2024 to schools, libraries, and camps year-round to provide children with meals on the weekends and when they are not getting food from school. The Food Rescue program rescues over 300,000 pounds of food each year from stores and farms. The food is distributed the same day, keeping food out of landfills and into the hands that need it. The onsite Food Pantry serves over 6,700 families annually at our weekly food pantries. Beginning in 2026, Manna will be able to provide 24/7 access to anyone seeking food assistance with temperature-controlled food lockers located outside our pantry. In addition, Manna also serves rural communities and homebound individuals through our Mobile Food Pantry.
