The Need

Every day, cancer patients and their families travel long distances to receive life-saving treatment. While medical care may be world-class, the burden of travel, lodging, meals, and navigating an unfamiliar city adds emotional and financial stress to an already overwhelming journey.

Many patients must choose between:

Driving hours while sick and exhausted
Paying for expensive hotel stays
Missing treatments due to travel challenges
Overwhelming financial burden in a medical crisis
Facing cancer alone without family support nearby

Our community currently lacks a dedicated medical hospitality home where cancer patients and their caregivers can stay in a safe, supportive, and affordable environment near treatment.

This campaign exists to change that.

Our Vision

We are creating a 10-room medical hospitality house designed specifically for cancer patients and their caregivers: a place that feels like home while they receive treatment.

This house will provide:

Comfortable lodging
Meals and kitchen access
Transportation assistance
Patient navigation support
Gathering spaces for families
A community of support for people facing cancer

This is more than a building.
It is a place where patients can rest between treatments, families can stay together, and no one has to face cancer alone.

The Project

The project includes the purchase and renovation of a three-floor medical hospitality house with:

10 private patient rooms
4 residential wings
3 gathering spaces
Community kitchen
Living room
Lobby and welcome area
Laundry facilities
Outdoor and reflection spaces
Offices for patient support staff
Safe, accessible, medical-friendly design

When fully operational, the house will serve 250–300 patients and caregivers each year, providing thousands of nights of lodging and support services.

Campaign Goal: $5.54 Million

This campaign will fund not only the building, but also the programs and operations required to open the doors and serve patients immediately.
