The 2026 Gay Softball World Series isn't just another championship. It marks the 49th Gay Softball World Series, the final championship before International Pride Softball celebrates its historic 50th Anniversary Gay Softball World Series in San Francisco in 2027.

As host of the 49th Gay Softball World Series, we have the opportunity to honor nearly five decades of LGBTQ+ softball history, celebrate the community that has made this event possible, and build momentum toward the historic 50th Anniversary Gay Softball World Series in San Francisco in 2027. In 2026, Columbus will welcome more than 5,000 athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and fans representing 260+ teams from 58 cities across North America.
