Our popular Homeschool Outdoors series continues!

Homeschoolers will buzz, crawl, and hop into the hidden world of wetland bugs! Students will grab nets and magnifying glasses to go on a real bug safari, searching muddy banks and tall grasses for dragonflies, water striders, beetles, and more. Along the way, kids will learn how these tiny creatures keep the wetland ecosystem buzzing with life — from pollinating plants to feeding fish and birds. Get ready to get up close with some seriously cool critters!

When: Tuesday, September 15th 9:00 a.m.-11 a.m.

Cost: $10 per student per program. Includes admission to the Wetland Center. Free for parents/guardians. Parents or guardians must be present with their students throughout the program.

Age: 6-12. Limit of 20 students per program.

Long pants, sleeves, and closed-toed shoes
Bug spray
A hat
Water bottle
Your sense of curiosity and wonder

Our Program Refund Policy

If we must cancel the program, you will receive a full refund. If we must reschedule the program, you will be offered the choice of attending on the new date or receiving a full refund. If you cancel attending the program on the original date, no refund will be issued.
