One thing is certain: our freedoms should never be taken for granted. South Dakota is an incredible example of how great freedom in homeschool can be- freedom to choose what is best for our families and freedom to be the parents we were meant to be, without government involvement. But our ability to homeschool in the best way possible for our children is not a guarantee and it is one that is under threat each legislative session.

FAIRSD exists to promote and protect alternative instruction (homeschool) in South Dakota, and we can't do it without you! Our board of volunteers spend countless hours every year keeping tabs on bills that may impact our freedom, and this does not come without cost.
