Every Young Adult Deserves Someone in Their Corner

Turning 18 should be the beginning of possibility—not the moment support disappears.

Young adults transitioning from foster care are expected to make enormous decisions about housing, employment, education, money, health, and relationships, often without the dependable safety net many of us relied on when we first entered adulthood.

Hope for the Future Foster Transition and Resource Center exists to help close that gap.

We serve young adults ages 18–24 with housing support and the practical tools, trusted relationships, and consistent guidance needed to build stable, independent lives.

More Than Housing

A safe place to live is essential, but a key is only the beginning. Lasting independence also requires knowledge, confidence, connection, and someone who continues showing up.

Our program is designed to provide:

Housing navigation and move-in support to help young adults begin with stability.
Financial literacy and life-skills education, including budgeting, cooking, time management, and everyday household responsibilities.
Job readiness, including résumé preparation, interview skills, employment searches, and workplace success.
Education planning for young adults pursuing college, certifications, or other career pathways.
Mental-health coordination and mentoring so independence never has to mean isolation.
Ongoing personal support as participants work toward their individual goals.

Why We Are Raising $128,000

Hope for the Future is raising $128,000 by January 1, 2027 to fund the operations that make this support possible.

Operations means the people, program coordination, training, outreach, technology, supplies, transportation assistance, workshops, and day-to-day systems required to deliver dependable services. It is the work behind the work—the structure that turns compassion into consistent action.

Your donation helps us keep the program ready, responsive, and available for young adults who need a bridge from foster care to independence.

Small Gifts Become a Powerful Community

If 10,000 people give just $12.80, together we can reach the entire $128,000 goal.

You can make a one-time gift, become a monthly supporter, or share this campaign with a friend, business, church, employer, or community organization. Every contribution moves us closer to a future in which young people leaving foster care are not left to navigate adulthood alone.

Hope Starts Here

Please donate today and help Hope for the Future build the steady foundation young adults need not merely to survive, but to thrive.

Give. Share. Become part of their circle of support.
