Hopping 4 A Cure™ for Multiple Sclerosis is a Trademarked, Incorporated, Full 501(c)3 non-profit organization that hosts Hopscotch Tournaments raising money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis. Proceeds go toward College Scholarships, Caregiver Support, and Alternative Medical Research.

With your help, we can all HOP in the HOPE of a world free of Multiple Sclerosis.

My dad was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis when I was in high school.

I didn't know what to do about it. On day my friend and I decided to wear suits to school based on a joke from the show 'How I Met Your Mother'. Instead of sharing that reason to our friends, we decided to tell our friends we were the first Varsity Hopscotchers at our school, and started making up new rules to hopscotch during and between classes.

Three months later, that joke turned into the first Hopscotch Tournament, raising money for MS research. That day was Wednesday, October 13th 2010. Over the next decade, Hopping 4 A Cure grew into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with chapters at schools across the country, thousands of kids competing in what we now call Recess Olympics, and real money going to real families affected by MS.

Then the pandemic shut everything down.

Now, we're rebuilding. And it starts here.

On November 15, 2026, the Recess Olympics returns to South Florida at Clive Daniel Home in Boca Raton. Teams will compete in hopscotch tournaments, relay races, tug of war, sack races, jump rope challenges, obstacle courses, and more.

Think field day meets fundraiser. All ages. All skill levels. All heart.

Why Multiple Sclerosis?

Multiple Sclerosis attacks the central nervous system. It can take your ability to walk, to see clearly, to live without pain. There is no cure. Over 1 million people in the US are living with it, and 200 more are diagnosed every week. It doesn't discriminate.

1 million people in the United States are living with MS
200 new cases diagnosed every week
3x more common in women than men
$4.1 million lifetime cost per person
0 known cures

Behind every statistic is a family navigating something they didn't ask for.

Where every dollar goes.

Every dollar raised through this campaign goes directly to supporting people affected by MS and Children's Cancer.

Hopping 4 A Cure provides support for families and individuals with MS through:

Arielle Anacker Cancer Foundation, Inc. assists needy children with cancer and their families:
