Vote for Your Favorite Horse — 2026 Horse of the Year!

Who is your favorite horse at Horses for Handicapped? ❤️

Our horses are more than just beautiful animals—they are teachers, partners, therapists, and friends. Every week, they patiently carry riders, help build confidence, encourage movement, create connections, and bring smiles to children and adults who may face challenges in their everyday lives.

Now it’s time for you to choose our 2026 Horse of the Year!

🏆 How It Works

It’s simple:

Every $1 donated = 1 vote!

Choose the horse that has captured your heart and make a donation in their honor. The horse who receives the most dollars in votes at the end of the campaign will be crowned our 2026 Horse of the Year!

You can vote once, or come back and vote again and again. There’s no limit!

Whether you love our gentle giant, the goofy personality, the dashing gypsy, the patient teacher, the spunky pony or the horse who has made a special connection with your family, your dollars can help your favorite horse take home the title.

❤️ More Than a Competition

While the horses may be competing for bragging rights, every horse wins when you participate.

Your donations help provide the food, hay, veterinary care, farrier services, medications, supplies, shelter, fencing, and daily care our horses need to remain healthy and able to continue serving our riders.

Our program has remained committed to providing therapeutic riding opportunities to our community, and that is only possible because of the generosity of people who believe in what these remarkable horses do.

So pick your favorite, make your vote count, and rally your friends and family to join you!

Who will wear the crown? 👑🐴

Will it be the horse with the biggest fan club?
The horse with the sweetest personality?
The horse who has touched your family’s heart?
Or the unexpected underdog who makes a late run for the title?

The choice is yours!
