The Widow's Portion

by House of Prayer 24-7

“And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:
For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.”
— Mark 12:43–44 (KJV)

Everyone Can Participate

At House of Prayer 24-7, we believe no believer should ever feel excluded from participating in the work of the Kingdom because of what they can—or cannot—afford.

For that reason, we invite every believer to set aside $2 each week (or $8.66 monthly) in honor of the widow's two mites.

Not because two dollars is all someone should give.

But because the Widow's Portion reminds us that faithful participation is more valuable than the size of the gift.

The Widow's Portion is not measured by its amount.

It is measured by faithful participation.

According to Ability

The Widow's Portion is the invitation extended to every believer.

For many, this may simply be $2 each week in honor of the widow's two mites.

Some families choose to present the Widow's Portion on behalf of every member of their household.

Others whom the Father has entrusted with greater resources may freely give beyond the Widow's Portion according to their ability.

Whether your gift is the Widow's Portion or beyond, every freewill offering advances the same mission.

No one is asked to give equally. Everyone is invited to participate faithfully.

Together We Build

Together we proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom, make disciples, baptize believers in the name of Yeshua, and prepare the children of God for the Kingdom of Heaven through prayer, worship, teaching, and the raising of the Tabernacle of David.

This is the mission of House of Prayer 24-7.

Your freewill offering helps establish places where people can:

Hear the gospel of the Kingdom
Be baptized in the name of Yeshua
Worship together
Grow as disciples
Prepare for the Kingdom of Heaven
Gather before the Lord in the Tabernacle of David

Every gift matters.

Every believer matters.

Every household can participate.

Together, we accomplish what none of us could accomplish alone.

A Freewill Offering

The Widow's Portion is not a tithe.

It is not an investment.

It does not purchase ownership, equity, voting rights, influence, or future financial interest in House of Prayer 24-7, Diaspora HQ, the Treasury of Zion, Inc., or any present or future ministry initiative.

It is simply a freewill offering unto God from those who believe in this mission and desire to participate in what He is doing through it.

As it is written:

“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
— 2 Corinthians 9:7 (KJV)

And again,

“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
— Luke 6:38 (KJV)

As the mission grows, we will regularly share mission updates so our community can rejoice together in what God is doing through the proclamation of the Kingdom, the baptism of believers, the raising of the Tabernacle of David, and the gathering of God's people.

Present Your Widow's Portion Before the Lord

Whether you present the Widow's Portion, give on behalf of your household, or have been blessed to give beyond it, thank you for standing with us as we proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom, baptize believers in the name of Yeshua, raise the Tabernacle of David, and prepare the children of God for the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Widow's Portion is not about equal giving.

It is about equal participation in the work of the Kingdom.

May every gift be offered with joy.

May every heart be willing.

May all glory be given to God in the name of Yeshua, our soon-coming King.

The Kingdom of God is not built by a few extraordinary gifts, but by many faithful hearts serving together.

The Widow's Portion

Every Believer Can Participate.
