America’s 250th Anniversary Colonial Ball

Celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with a special evening of history, music, food, and fun at the historic Shady Rest Country Club in Scotch Plains, New Jersey!

Join us on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 7:00–10:00 PM for a Colonial Ball featuring colonial dancing, music, tastings, games, and appearances by historic figures. Guests are encouraged to get into the spirit of the celebration by dressing in colonial-inspired attire.

This unique event brings the community together to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independencewhile supporting the preservation of important local historic landmarks.

Tickets are $75 per person, with proceeds benefiting Shady Rest Country Club, the Osborn Cannonball House, and the Frazee House.
