The purpose and overall goal of Shepherd Inn Corsicana is to lower the rates of substance use disorder relapse. This will in turn lower the rates of homelessness, incarceration and unemployment, as well as lowering the cost of indigent healthcare and legal services to the community.

Shepherd Inn Corsicana currently operates in the city limits of Corsicana providing no cost and low cost housing and recovery services to women and families in Navarro County. We currently have 17 adult beds and 15 kids beds fully occupied and on a waitlist.

We rented our first home in Corsicana May 2024 and were full within 2 weeks of opening. We then signed leases every 2-3 months adding new homes due to the growth and need in the community for moms seeking help.

We are fulfilling our purpose everyday in Corsicana by providing no cost and low cost housing and healing to our communities most vulnerable population, single mothers and their children. Because of the community we are able to fulfill our purpose!
