Support HeadStrong Girls' Boxing Programming!

Our goal is to continue to raise money to fund our programs. We are raising money to fund our scholarship program to Austin Women's Boxing Club's Youth Program - serving girls ages 8-17. This year we had a record number of applicants, and were able to accept 10 girls into our program.

Some accomplishments from our boxers from the last 6 months:

Four boxers Band Tested in AWBC's September Band Test, and 3 tested in December. Our highest ranking boxer is a purple band now!
One boxer now is an assistant instructor at AWBC once a week. She helps with general tasks around the gym and helps teach a few classes.
Two of the boxers helped hold mitts at a specialty boxing workshop held for Impact Austin by Robin Krumme.
Three boxers are regularly attending the advanced class, with more soon to join!
Two of the advanced boxers had their first sparring experience with girls from another gym, and they did such a great job practicing their skills!
One boxer is currently scheduled for her very first amateur boxing match!

As interest in our offerings grows, our need for equipment, coaching certifications, and more increases. This will help us reach more girls in the Greater Austin Area. This fund specifically will go to supporting our Summer 2026 trimester (May 1st - August 31st). We only accept as many girls as we have funding for, so more donations = more girls served!

We're RAISING THE STAKES for this fundraising period. We are encouraging fundraising TEAMS! Your team can have 8 people participating in it. Whichever team raises the most money by April 30th gets a FREE private boxing class with AWBC coaches for them and some friends (up to 16 people total) and swag: special branded Yetis, tee-shirts, and stickers!

Your team can raise money however they like - lemonade stand, car wash, social media outreach, personal donations, doesn't matter. Just be sure that you're sending the correct team link to your network, so the donation is attributed to you!

HeadStrong Girls' Boxing offers FREE boxing classes to girls ages 8-17 who are looking for a healthy outlet to blow off steam, manage their stress, and be part of a supportive and powerful community.

Our program provides a place for girls, who might not normally participate in team sports or regular exercise, a way to get physically fit and be a part of a community in a safe, unique, and fun environment.
