The HUG Love Boat is more than an event. It is a celebration of our patients, allies, healthcare partners, and everyone who believes that compassionate, affirming healthcare should be accessible to all.

A Celebration With Purpose

The 2026 HUG Love Boat was a major success and more than doubled attendance from 2025. The energy, joy, and love aboard the boat demonstrated what is possible when patients, allies, providers, businesses, and community organizations come together.

Based on feedback from our guests and partners, we are beginning our 2027 planning during the fourth quarter of 2026. Starting early will allow us to welcome more people, strengthen community participation, enhance the guest experience, and increase the event’s impact.

The Healthcare Unity Group is a nonprofit 340B clinic working to eliminate barriers to HIV prevention, treatment, and related healthcare.

HUG currently supports:

More than 900 active patients
Patients in 45 states
More than 4,000 STI treatments
More than 210 insurance enrollments
Access to PrEP, PEP, HIV treatment, and hepatitis C care
Free in-person and telemedicine visits
Medication copay and insurance-premium assistance
Transportation assistance
Insurance navigation and case management
Affirming care regardless of geography, insurance status, or ability to pay

Every ticket purchased, contribution made, and community partnership formed helps HUG expand the operations and resources needed to serve more patients in 2027.

Community Business Partnership does not include an exhibit table, speaking opportunity, gift-bag placement, promotional-material display, or access to patient information.*

Exhibit and Healthcare Partnership Opportunities

Healthcare organizations, pharmacy partners, and other eligible organizations interested in exhibiting or participating at a higher level should review the HUG Love Boat 2027 Sponsorship and Exhibit Prospectus or contact HUG directly.

Pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers should contact HUG before submitting payment. Manufacturer opportunities are structured as fee-for-benefit exhibit, tabling, or materials-display arrangements and are not charitable donations.

HUG can provide a package-specific Letter of Request, applicable 2027 W-9, invoice, and supporting documentation upon request.
