Hooray! A new kindergarten class has started on the north side of Shingal/Sinjar Mountain in Iraq! Please view the short video for a sample of the children in class!

Due to rote learning and years of trauma, we've learned that critical thinking skills and a love of learning are missing in many people's lives. English is a required language in most of the schools in Iraq; however, many teachers are excellent in grammar but not in speaking English, and they have VERY large class sizes with only a short class time to teach.

Our English classes can be very beneficial in helping children, teens, and adults begin and continue their restoration process.

For the 2024 summer, our focus was on teaching teachers about learning styles utilizing the VARK* system and how to apply this knowledge in their classrooms. We utilized our English Reading Group project process to show them how they can help their students speak English while also helping with their reading comprehension skills.
