The Spectrum Network's journey began on September 16, 1974, with the opening of an activity center in the basement of Grace Episcopal Church in Decorah. Initially welcoming 13 clients, our organization has since evolved and expanded its reach, undergoing a transformational journey.

In 1986, we changed our name to Spectrum Industries, Incorporated; in 2006, we rebranded as The Spectrum Network.

Today, we proudly employ dedicated individuals who passionately serve over 100 clients across 10 Iowa counties.

Our programs and services have continuously evolved to meet the changing needs of those we serve. We offer comprehensive support services, from supported community living to community-based employment services and a day habilitation program for individuals with cognitive disabilities, mental illness, and other barriers.

At The Spectrum Network, we aim to empower individuals to achieve new competencies and thrive within the community. We remain committed to fostering positive change and growth as we look to the future. Through innovative approaches and unwavering dedication, we strive to help individuals discover meaningful work, gain independence, and succeed daily.
