Insightful Talks: Hear from the worlds first pediatric cochlear implant recipient, Holly Taylor and her mom, Viktorija McDonell. Holly was implanted in 1987 at the age of 4. They will share their journey from pre-implantation and how the decision has transformed Holly's life over the past nearly 30 years.

KEYNOTE DISCUSSION: Holly Taylor and her mom, Viktorija McDonell will be interviewed by JLCIF's Board member, Jodi Cutler.

In 1987, Holly Taylor was the world’s first commercial pediatric recipient of the cochlear implant when she was four years old. Today Holly is a corporate lawyer specializing in mergers and acquisitions. She is taking a career break after moving with her family to live in Hong Kong for 18 months. She is currently backpacking with her two children in South East Asia, as they slowly make their way back to their home in Sydney, Australia.

* Our goal is to raise enough to fund three sound processor upgrades for cochlear implant recipients that have no other options to keep their hearing stable (we currently have several applicants on our waitlist).

If you're not able to join us live, your ticket prices includes a replay of the event.

* 100% of the proceeds go towards helping uninsured and underinsured cochlear implant recipients in the U.S. with their ongoing external sound processor equipment costs so that they can remain part of the hearing world.
