This Ramadan, we invite our community to come together in generosity and support Charlotte Islamic Academy’s annual Ramadan Iftar.

Founded in 1998, Charlotte Islamic Academy is an accredited Islamic school serving students from Pre-K through 12th grade in Charlotte, North Carolina. As a Cognia-accredited comprehensive community school with a strong college preparatory focus, CIA challenges students academically while nurturing their Islamic identity and character. Our philosophy of education centers on the full development of Muslim children — empowering them to succeed in this life and in the Hereafter.

Ramadan is a month of reflection, unity, and multiplied reward. Allah سبحانه وتعالى reminds us:

“And they give food, in spite of love for it, to the needy, the orphan, and the captive, saying, ‘We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.’”
(Qur’an 76:8–9)
