Friends of the Gridiron is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to supporting the Newman Catholic Football Team. Every dollar raised goes directly to purchasing equipment, tournament fees, hosting the annual football banquet, providing player meals, ensuring media and film coverage of our games, and organizing team-building events. Your contributions transform a football season into a comprehensive Football Program!

Newman Catholic Football has proudly won two consecutive WIAA State Championships in 2021 and 2022 and our team made it to the Playoffs again last year. We are eager to see what our team will achieve this year under the leadership of Head Coach Paul Michlig!

We are excited to announce the First Annual Cardinal Kickoff, replacing our traditional Steak Fry Fundraiser. This event will be held at Newman, next to the field, at 6:00 on Saturday, August 24^thmarking the end of our preseason fundraising drive.

The Kickoff promises to be an evening filled with fan excitement, outdoor games, music, a Taco Bar under a tent, team and coach introductions. Coach Michlig and Chad Holmes from Bulls Falls Radio WXCO will also discuss the upcoming season. Please RSVP to NewmanFOTG@outlook.com by August 15^th. We hope to see you there! A $15 per person donation for the kickoff dinner is appreciated which can be paid at the door or made to the Give Butter website using the QR code.

A new grill, new pads, and covers for the 6 Man Sled and a brand-new Single Man Sled co-funded by FOTG and the Newman Booster Club
