The Jr. 100 Mentorship Academy, powered by 100 Black Men of the Twin Cities, is more than a program—it’s a launchpad for young men in grades 6–12, especially young men of color, to grow into leaders who change their schools, families, and communities.

What We Do

From October through June, students gather twice a month:

Saturday Curriculum Sessions (9–11 AM): Mentorship workshops on leadership, finance, communication, and personal growth.
Learning Experiences: Real-world field trips and activities designed to spark curiosity, build skills, and expand horizons.

Topics include leadership development, financial health, public speaking, collaboration, negotiation, career pathways, and post-secondary readiness.

Every young man is paired with a mentor who walks beside him—guiding, encouraging, and modeling what it means to live with purpose.
