Immunocompromised Association is an organization focused on promoting public awareness for immunocompromised patients. We are dedicated to improving the lives of patients who are immunocompromised due to disease or treatment including those with primary or secondary immunodeficiencies, autoimmune disorders, transplant recipients, and anyone with a health condition who would benefit from our mission. We are committed to reducing inherent health risks for immunocompromised individuals to have more fulfilling lives.

A healthy immune system acts as protection from bacteria, viruses, and other airborne particles that can lead to infection. Certain disorders and medical treatments can suppress the immune system significantly. A suppressed immune system leaves a person vulnerable to illness, sometimes dangerously so. Immune system suppression makes it difficult for affected people to live daily lives, as ordinary exposure to commonplace pathogens can lead to serious illness or death.
