Our Collective Commitment

IMPULSCE is a fully youth-led, prevention-centered, weekend-long, camp-style educational conference-retreat designed to train, educate, and discuss prevention — while also mitigating the loneliness epidemic by fostering connection and real conversations with peers. Attendees will hear from peers and important figureheads on topics such as mental health, substance misuse, and service. This camp-style conference will leave college students feeling engaged, refreshed, motivated, educated, and inspired to challenge social norms and lead new impulsive lives.

What to Expect:

Upon signing up, you can expect 3 jam-packed days filled with learning, laughter, and life-changing experiences. With networking, service-learning, mentoring, of course, lots and lots of fun, you'll wake up smelling like campfire and wishing you had just one more day to experience this once-in-a-lifetime conference.

There will be Impromptu education-based challenges, a field day, breakout sessions, and, of course, a week filled with team-vs.-team competitions

Why Now?

IMPULSCE came to our founders' idea after attending multiple conferences in the field of prevention that seemed to miss the biggest takeaway of all. The people, the connection, the experience, and the memories. Tied to our generation's lack of true in-person connection and a love for the environment, IMPUSLCE bridges the gap between living the lives we wish we had and taking the steps to turn this one into one you're proud of living.

Creating a space where we can step out of our comfort zones while also contributing to a cause greater than ourselves is what the S in PULSCE is all about. Service: by serving you all and giving you the tools, spaces, and experiences needed, we know that you will, in turn, return to your communities more motivated to make a few .. impulsce-vie decisions.
