In Loving Memory of Pavlova

The PNWCDR team is heartbroken to share the loss of one of our beloved puppies, Pavlova. On November 2nd, an incredibly tragic incident occurred when Pavlova choked on a treat. Despite immediate action and emergency veterinary care, she could not be revived.

We are absolutely devastated by this loss. Pavlova was a sweet, spunky, and intelligent little cattle dog who brought joy to everyone she met. Her energy, curiosity, and loving nature made her unforgettable, and she will always hold a special place in our hearts.

In Pavlova’s honor, we’ve created this fundraiser to help cover the unexpected costs of her emergency vet visit and cremation. Tragedies like this are not only emotionally heartbreaking but also place a significant financial strain on our rescue’s limited resources. We are now faced with a bill of over $2,000, and any support — whether through a donation or simply by sharing Pavlova’s story — means the world to us.

As a small, volunteer-run rescue, these unexpected costs hit us hard. Every dollar we spend on emergencies like this limits the care and support we can provide to other dogs in need.

We are asking for your help. Please consider donating to Pavlova’s memorial fund today. Your gift, no matter the amount, will help us cover these heartbreaking expenses and ensure we can continue rescuing and caring for other dogs in her honor.
