The Innovation for Good Challenge brings students together for a hands‑on, multi‑day experience at the Linda Vista Innovation Center where learning, creativity, and community service collide. During the program, students explore a career industry, build real‑world skills, and design an idea that helps others — all culminating in a live Innovation for Good Challenge where they present their solutions to a local panel of judges from Altrusa International of Southern CA Virtual Club, industry professionals, and educators.

This challenge shows students that their ideas matter. It builds confidence, teamwork, problem‑solving, and a sense of responsibility to their community. It also strengthens local partnerships by connecting students, families, educators, and professionals in a shared mission: empowering young people to innovate with heart.

This year’s event was made possible through a generous grant from the Altrusa International Foundation, and the impact was clear — students left inspired, proud, and eager to keep creating for good.
