To re-imagine and reinvigorate the role of the United States on the world stage by shaping policy discussions, inspiring future leaders, and providing actionable research that bridges the gap between ideas and implementation. Through sustained engagement with policymakers, think tanks, universities, partner organizations, and the private sector, the Institute works to restore confidence in America’s global leadership at home and abroad.

Our Initiatives:

National Security Fellowship: A 9-month fellowship for congressional staff and policy professionals. Learn how foreign assistance strengthens U.S. national security and how to build the legislative skills necessary to support soft power institutions.
University Chapters: Cultivate policy literacy, civic engagement, and the next generation of leaders who understand how foreign assistance strengthens U.S. security. Chapters host workshops, speaker series, simulations, and advocacy campaigns.
Independent Research: Produce high-quality research and policy analysis that address key challenges in soft power, with a focus on alliance strengthening, strategic competition, and the renewal of democratic institutions focused on enhancing soft power.
