At Sisters PGH, we believe in investing in Black trans leadership—not just in the community, but within our own team.

We are raising funds to send 5–6 staff members to the Black Trans Advocacy Conference (BTAC) 2026 in New Orleans, April 21st - 26th 2026.

BTAC is one of the largest national gatherings of Black trans leaders in the country. It is a space for healing, strategy, connection, and growth.

Our staff are on the frontlines every day—providing housing, crisis support, advocacy, and care for Black trans people in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County and Philadelphia, Pa.

This conference is an opportunity for them to:

Rest and recharge
Build national connections
Strengthen their leadership through workshops and leadership development opportunities
Bring resources and knowledge back to Pittsburgh, Allegheny County & Philly

We are raising $7,500 to cover:

Conference registration
Hotel accommodations
Travel and basic expenses
