Another example of russian evil

Just last week russia attacked Sumy's civilians and last night they continued to prove just how truly depraved they are by attacking Kyiv. 20 dead civilians (as of this writing) and over a hundred wounded paid the price for russia's sadistic desire to appear powerful.

I don't know if it's just hopeful thinking on my part, but these attacks remind me of a mortally-wounded scorpion, blindly striking out in rage and fear as is collapses in an ignominious death. That day cannot come soon enough, but in the meantime we continue to support the Ukrainian defenders however we can.

In other news, the 81st thanks you profusely for all your emergency help; several of their positions were hit hard and much equipment was lost as they pulled back to save their people. Our contact with the 81st (pictured here) told Arcaist that UFL is literally their angels.

You should all be proud of what you do. Literally and without hyperbole, your support saves lives.

$2 Tuesday special

We're doing a throwback today, offering a single huge pack as a teaser for a special fundraiser coming later this week.

This week's extra-special raffle is brought to you by the drone unit of Rubpak. If you remember, Rubpak is part of the 25th Brigade and asked for your help late last year; you all responded in overwhelming fashion and exceeded their wildest dreams.

This week Rubpak has provided a signed unit flag, a thank-you ammo can, and a unit patch! All proceeds go to the general fund, which we use for time-critical requests like getting the 81st their emergency resupply.

(For those of you that didn't hear: Giraffe (our contact) was injured earlier this year and was out of action for a while while he healed. He's back on the job now. Your donations to our general fund replaced the combat pants and jacket he was wearing when he got hit. Thanks to you, he's not on position in his civvies anymore!)
