At Isla Mar, we believe every child deserves access to high-quality, hands-on science education, regardless of their financial situation. That’s why our programs are intentionally designed to be inclusive, with flexible options to ensure cost is never a barrier. While we continue to fundraise with the goal to offer our programs free of charge, our Sponsor a Student initiative helps fill the gap by providing financial support, no questions asked, to students who need it most.

Through your sponsorship, students ages 5–17 gain access to engaging, bilingual classes led by active marine and terrestrial scientists. In small groups, they explore topics like ocean food webs, marine megafauna, fish biology, and conservation, while also building curiosity, critical thinking, and mindfulness skills that last a lifetime.

Each sponsorship helps cover the cost of a partial or full scholarship for students interested in participating in the Youth Education Program.
