Peace and Love, Amara’s Adventures supporters ✨📚,

This September, Diaspora Whispers Inc. is bringing Amara’s Adventures to Roanoke, Virginia, and we need your help to make sure every child leaves with a story in their hands and inspiration in their heart. ❤️

For the past three years, our It’s Cool to Learn Literacy Initiative has reached children across Florida, including Jacksonville, Ocala, and St. Augustine. Many of these children received books of their own for the very first time. What we have seen is powerful. When children are given stories, they engage, they imagine, and they begin to believe in themselves. 📖✨

Now we are taking that impact to a new community.

On September 12, 2026, we will host a special literacy event at the Harrison Museum of African American Culture in Roanoke. Our goal is simple but meaningful.

No child leaves empty handed. 🎒

Each child will receive a full literacy learning kit that includes:
📚 A copy of Amara and the Secret World of Butterflies
🔖 A bookmark
🖍️ Crayons and a coloring sheet
⭐ A stickers
🦋 A Butterfly Life Cycle Set

These are more than supplies. They are tools for imagination, confidence, and growth. 🌱

This year’s story, Amara and the Secret World of Butterflies, teaches children about patience, transformation, and believing in themselves. In a fast moving world, it reminds them that growth takes time and that they are becoming something amazing. 🦋✨
