🌿 Why We’re Fundraising

The Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Association of Iredell County, in partnership with the Iredell County Cooperative Extension under the NC Cooperative Extension Master Gardener℠ Program, is raising funds to build a new greenhouse.

Our passionate volunteers share a deep belief in making research-based horticultural education accessible to everyone. Right now, cold weather limits our ability to teach workshops, host plant clinics, and run youth programs. A dedicated greenhouse will change that—and make our impact year-round.

Last year alone, we supported gardening programs across Iredell County, answered hundreds of plant questions, and educated community members with our Demonstration Garden. This greenhouse ensures that those efforts can continue, no matter the season.

Train more volunteers who bring sustainable gardening skills to local residents
Reach more kids through school and youth gardening workshops
